Boredom is a great inspiration for blogging.

It's a pretty mellow Thursday night for me, and so I figured I'd catch up on some writing. M, (a.k.a. my guy) just got work again starting first thing tomorrow morning so he had to hit the zzz's quite early tonight. I probably could've gone to bed as well, but it's my weekend and I feel like I have to make the most of it. Plus, what 24 year old goes to bed before 10 pm unless they have a really good reason to do so? Most certainly not this one.

Anyway, I'm really trying to figure out what I should do all day tomorrow!? I'd really like to be able to start moving into that apartment on the P/W hwy, but I have to wait to hear back from the manager and whether or not I've been approved. It's seriously a chore for me to not get my hopes up about something that I want quite badly. Ah well, what more can I really do but patiently wait...

In the meantime, I'd really like to get back into art again. I love to draw and paint, but I've lost touch with doing so. I guess I've just been lazy about it due to work and the normal everyday responsibilities of being an adult. It's always easier to do such things when you're younger and don't have to worry about paying bills and all that jazz. I guess I just need to get my arse in gear and find the nearest art supply shop - enough of my procrastinating it already.

Alright, well so much for staying up late tonight - the thought of crawling into bed next to my warm and cuddly boyfriend is really appealing to me right now, and so I must go. He has to work all day tomorrow anyway, best get my snuggles now or never.

Blogging, it must be a love/hate thing?

Once upon a time I was a good little blogger...but honestly, I'd say that I've been slacking for a long while now (and that's putting it lightly). A lot has happened in the past couple of months for me, a.k.a. a few life altering changes. No worries though, they've all been for the better!!

Anyway, to update: I've been working at Sally Beauty for a little over 3 months now, and I am still (with the exception of a few minor moments) loving every minute of it!! It's really nice to finally have a job that I enjoy waking up in the morning to go to. My manager is great, my coworkers are great, the perks are great - you get the idea. On top of having a great job I also have a great, no amazing boyfriend (we've been dating for a little over two months now) that I love with all of my heart!! Annnd, if that weren't enough to keep me busy I've most recently decided to make an attempt at getting a place of my own. I am getting tired of having to juggle bits and pieces of my life around different parts of the valley. It's time to get organized!! I turned in an application this morning before I went to work for an efficiency on the P/W highway, so hopefully that will turn out for the best. I really just want it to be over and done with.

Alllrighty, well I could probably keep writing because it's been such a while since I've updated, but my hotness is sitting by his lonesome in the living room, and I'm totally getting the itch to cuddle...in other words, peace for now.
